SH-L-Tyrosine

Thiol-L-Tyrosine/Thiol modified tyrosine/ SH-Tyrosine/Tyrosine-SH is a coupling reagent. By utilizing the enzymatic reaction characteristics of tyrosine and the specific coupling ability of thiol groups, precise labeling of protein molecules such as antibodies and enzymes can be achieved, avoiding the problem of activity loss caused by traditional lysine modification. As a functional cross-linking site, an intelligent hydrogel with both enzyme response and disulfide bond dynamic response was constructed for drug delivery and tissue engineering scaffolds. The thiol group fixes tyrosine residues on the surface of the material, and utilizes the phenolic hydroxyl group of tyrosine to achieve subsequent photo crosslinking or biomolecule anchoring, enhancing the biocompatibility of the material.
